Mini Spring Break

Comments

They better make the next 2 movies ... or else ... congrats on relaxing, I think I need to go get a massage.

I watched many extras on The Golden Compass and would love to see the next two in the series but I can’t see them making them for the lack of fan fair and money it made at the theaters, maybe if the DVD sales go good, but you got to watch this relaxing posture you are getting into it is a slippery slope. I myself are either one way or the other, work like crazy or lazy like crazy you got to find a good balance and you are headed that way with the not worrying if things get done or not that’s the most important part, not feeling guilty if you just don’t get something done, there is always tomorrow. How’s Rudy doing, is he being spoiled beyond belief, dose he think he is human now! Just enjoy yourself and take it easy your young and there is plenty of time to complete your to do list!

[this is good]
The good thing about doing nothing occasionally, is that if refreshes you to give you the energy and the will power to do that long list of things. Glad you enjoyed your mini-break, it's needed sometimes to have your butt glued :)
I am glad you had some free time all to YOUrself! I see you watched Juno. Everyone I have talked to who has seen it said they liked it. What did you think? Am so into Bridget Jones. Am in the "May" chapter. Aren't you so proud!!!! Talk to you later! :-)
Beautiful Jen!!! I've been waiting for you to post something new!! =) I miss you and <3 you so, so much! How was Made of Honor? I'm dragging my friend Cullen to see it with me... although to be fair it was his idea in the first place, so there's really no dragging involved!! lol! I really want to go see Iron Man, too.
I hope they make the next 2 movies, but I have a feeling they won't. :(

So I heard about this new series called "Twilight" about vampires I was thinking of reading next... I have heard a lot of great things about it so I ordered the first few books off Amazon. If you want, after you read the rest of His Dark Materials, we can read those? I'm not sure yet if that is my book choice, but maybe, hehe.
It is always hard to find a good balance of all aspects of life... work, friends, family, your home, your hobbies, and yourself. I always feel like I need to be superwoman and do it all, but I'm trying to make myself happy and less stressed first.

Rudy is doing well, he has been enjoying my time off, since I can stay home with him during the day. He is as spoiled as ever!
I totally agree! The weird thing is that when I have time off and plan on being productive, I usually end up being super lazy. It's only when I'm swamped with things to do that things seem to get done... perhaps I'm just in that work mode that allows me to do it. It was really nice being able to relax and do nothing... and not feel guilty about it!
I thought Juno was pretty good! It took a pretty serious subject (teen pregnancy) and made it lighthearted and fun. The main character was absolutely hilarious. It was a really good, I would recommend it!

I am glad you have finally started reading the book. The movies are great but the books are great too. I think I remember reading the books after I saw the first movie, but the second one hadn't come out yet, so I was able to picture the characters as well. Renee does a great job playing Bridget!
Hello my luff! <3 I miss you too darling! I have been reading your Vox but have been pretty lazy about hitting the comment button, lol. Heck, I'm just now getting back to people on my own Vox. I am glad to hear that you are doing okay in Nebraska, though. I think knowing you'll be leaving soon helps you enjoy it more. You are planning to move to Seattle in June, right? I already let my work know I will probably be taking time off in August to visit you (they asked about our summer vacations already, haha). I can't wait!

Made of Honor was really cute! It's a lot like other chick flicks, though, but that doesn't stop me from watching them or liking them! I saw Ironman the other day with Steve and Matt... I loved it! You will love it when you see it, I think. Really good movie.

Hard to read these days!! I try to read something in bed to put me to sleep... I used to devour whole books in a day, but since I have wi-fi and an iPhone too many ways to kill time! :)

I love Netflix!! I have gotten to so many films I used to have to buy from yesasia. Seems that they have everything that is in Region 1 available now. Maybe you can Friend me on Netflix? I would also like to follow you on Twitter, if that's OK. I really love how you get to know peeps on it and all the interesting info they can pass on easily... even more ways to not have time to read! :P

Someone else just recommended Made of Honor to me! I have a fairly high "chick flick" tolerance, I guess! ^^

I love reading books, and usually if I find one that I really like I will spend all my free time reading it until I finish. I used to always make sure I wouldn't start any new books or series a few weeks before final exams because I know I would get no studying done, haha.

I have had Netflix for a few years and I do enjoy it a lot, but lately I've been getting frustrated with them. It seems like I never receive any movies at the top of my queue until weeks after they are released, so I tend to receive movies that are 12 or 15 down in my queue. Aside from that, I love the service. I don't remember what my username is on Netflix but my email is jen.wilhelm(AT)gmail.com. Maybe you can find me that way? I don't mind if you follow me on Twitter either, but I must warn you, I hardly update that anymore, lol.
